CEDRE Objectives

The major objectives of CEDRE are the following:
• Stimulating knowledge creation, diffusion and use through promotion of innovative research and pedagogy
• Supporting schools and educational institutions in regard to educational quality improvement
• Strengthening professional development for teachers and other educational stakeholders.
• Offering a platform for networking researchers, policy makers and

• Low-fee and educational quality in Rwanda
• Action research on “Improving quality teaching through teacher professional learning” in collaboration within DM-Echange et Mission, Switzerland and EPR.
• Alternatives to corporal punishment in Rwandan primary and secondary schools: Action Research
• Dealing with psychological problems in Rwandan educational institutions
• Entrepreneurship and employability among university graduates
• Education participation in Rwanda: Factors influencing dropouts in basic education

• Training student-teachers on Critical thinking in collaboration
